HISTORY

Prestige Aviation’s managing member Gary Bennetts has 15 years experience in the South African Charter industry. Gary has worked in senior management positions for companies such as Ross Air Charter, Streamline Air Charter, Executive Aerospace, National Airways Corporation, Ryan Blake Air Charter, Carpenters Charters and Sefofane Air Charter. Gary was also a 50% shareholder in Bateleur Air Charter for 5 years.

Prestige Aviation identified a niche in the South African Aircraft Sales Industry where an Aircraft Sales Company can offer a one stop shop. This includes identifying and sourcing the correct aircraft, pre-purchase inspections, purchase arrangements, finance and insurance advice and full operation/management of aircraft.

With a wealth of experience in the charter industry and familiarity of various aircraft types and suitability to certain missions, we look forward to being of service to you.



OUR LOGO

Our logo is the eye of a cheetah which represents the most Prestigious animal in Africa. Cheetahs are associated with royalty and elegance. Princes and Kings kept them as pets, including Genghis Khan and Charlemagne, who boasted of having kept cheetahs within their palace grounds. Akbar the Great, ruler of the Mughal Empire from 1556 to 1605, kept as many as 1000 cheetahs. As recently as the 1930s the Emperor of Ethiopia, Haile Selassie, was often photographed leading a cheetah by a leash.
